AMVETS Post 2 Inaugural Golf Tournament

Benefiting "Hero Homes" and the Armed Services YMCA

On August 22nd, 2009, AMVETS Post 2 hosted a golf tournament to raise funds for "Hero Homes" and the Armed Services YMCA.  The tournament was held at "Moose Run", on Fort Richardson

The number of teams originally envisioned wasn't attained; only 12 teams were established.  However, it was still a success, as over $5,300 was raised for the cause.
