St. Patrick's Day, 2007
AMVETS Post 2 celebrated St. Patrick's Day on the traditional Irish holiday.
There was fantastic food, featuring corned beef and cabbage and potatoes. Thanks to Sandy Newsom and Rex Baker for a fantastic meal! The corned beef was so tender, you didn't have to cut it...it fell apart!
Everyone had a really good time. The highlight of the night was a visit and performance by the Anchorage Scottish Pipe Band. They entertained us, as usual, with their beautiful bagpipe music.
